Facilities
The question isn’t which facilities exist at Parador Resort & Spa, but rather which amenities are NOT available to indulge your every need and whim! Here at Hotel Parador we are proud to provide you with first-class service and unparalleled opportunities to manifest your dream vacation in a relaxed and scenically splendid luxury environment.
Swimming & Sunbathing: For swimming or poolside sunning, you have three glorious onsite options, all overlooking the gleaming turquoise Pacific: choose from our beautiful centrally-located infinity family pool with swim-up bar and terrace restaurant, our secluded adult-only pool with cascade which sits adjacent to Pacifica Spa, or the infinity pool with dramatic waterfall and Jacuzzi regally perched at Las Suites.
Dining & Drinking: Skirting the resort’s picturesque family swimming area are three restaurants for indoor or outdoor dining with a fourth restaurant for casual fresh fare located poolside at Las Suites. Several lounges and bars provide great meeting places for happy hour or after dinner socializing.
Workout and Family Fun: Feeling energetic? Head off to the tennis court for a brisk workout or break a sweat at our 24-hour onsite fitness center equipped with an array of modern machines, free weights and mats. Drag the kids away from the pool for a game of miniature golf or family nature outing.
Hiking: Our lush ocean-view grounds encompass more than twelve acres of wildlife-laden rainforest and are bisected by winding nature trails leading to panoramic cliffs from where you might glimpse migrating whales or schools of dolphins. Explore the tropical flora of our vibrant gardens and the mysteries of the deep jungle, home to a plethora of exotic birds, three species of monkeys, two and three-toed sloths, coutamandas, a variety of reptiles, and wildcats. Also to be discovered throughout our estate are hidden niches and enclaves where you might enjoy privacy with your family, friends or loved one.
Spa Services: For the ultimate in physical and spiritual well-being, visit our full-service health spa where a staff of nurturing professionals will pamper you in luxury and style. Choose from a vast menu of body and facial treatments utilizing high-end professional products and natural local ingredients, prepare for a night on the town with a manicure/pedicure, or opt to simply relax in our lavish whirlpool after a long day’s activities.
Shopping: Find everything you need or desire at one of our two on-site gift shops.
From exclusive handcrafted wood and ceramic wares, archetypal Central American artwork, unique collectibles, fine jewelry and beautiful beachwear and clothing, Dulcinea Gift Shop is well worth a visit. On the second floor of the main building above La Galeria Restaurant, each item in this atmospheric boutique was personally chosen with an eye towards quality and distinction.
Conveniently located adjacent to the main pool, La Joyita Souvenir Shop sells necessities such as toiletries, pharmaceuticals and snacks alongside t-shirts, sarongs, hats and inexpensive souvenirs.
Concierge & Tour Desk: The experts at our concierge and tour desks will advise and organize all your off-site tours, assist with restaurant reservations and travel arrangements and are available to accommodate virtually any need or special request you may have.
Free Shuttle Service: Our free shuttle service will transport you to the stunning beaches of Manuel Antonio, a quick ten minute ride away. Or if your schedule doesn’t coincide with the van, we’ll have a taxi retrieve you in no time!
Beaches: White sand beaches stretch for miles along the coastline from Manuel Antonio Park, providing numerous options for surfing, sunning, kayaking and parasailing. For a more secluded swimming and sunbathing spot, the 10 minute stroll to the silky sand-fringed tranquil waters of Playa Biesanz is a don’t miss excursion. At low tide, on this small stretch of shell-laden shoreline, you might be favored with a bit of history by spotting ancient turtle traps used by the Quepoa Indians whom once resided on Punta Quepos. You can also rent kayaks and snorkel gear on this small, exclusive u-shaped beach.
