| About our executive chef
Rüdiger Vick, our new resident culinary genius, is a native of Germany who grew up around the world, honing his craft as he created dishes for top-level officials in embassies from Europe to Asia to Africa and Central America. It was here in Costa Rica that Chef Vick formed part of the team that opened the first Marriott hotel in the country—and found himself cooking for none other than President Bill Clinton.
Chef Vick is a proponent of globalization in the culinary arts, but believes there are a couple of key ingredients that must be in every dish: “Everyone around the world cooks with water, but the difference lies in the creativity and love they infuse into their dishes as chef de cuisine.” Well said! |
