At the Parador Resort & Spa (“Hotel”), the privacy and confidentiality of user information is important. We are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your user information.
- Has a Go Daddy Server ID.
- All information sent to this site, if in an SSL session, is encrypted, protecting against disclosure to third parties.
- The number of daily visitors to the site to know the language used by our most frequent visitors.
- The date and time of each visit, which enables us to make any necessary adjustment to facilitate access to the users at peak hours.
- The Domain Name Server, in order to determine the origin of the users that most frequently enter our site.
- The Internet address from which the hyperlink or link started and which has lead the user to our site, in order to determine which are the links that provide better results.
- Our firm uses cryptographic methods to maintain all the personal information you provide us through our contact form, secure and confidential. Thus, this information cannot be read by third parties while it is traveling towards our system.
- The data entered and sent voluntarily by the users through our contact form is stored in a data base which has no Internet access, and at all times it is treated in a strictly confidential manner in conformity to the regulations about professional secrecy in force in Costa Rica.
- Rates are based on double occupancy with breakfast buffet.
- Governmental taxes are not included in the rates (13%).

- Check-out time: 12:00 p.m.
- Reservation dates can only be changed prior to the payment period.
- 14 to 5 days prior to the arrival date – 50% refund.
- 4 days or less prior to the arrival date-NO REFUNDS
- 29 to 08 days prior to the arrival date – 50% refund.
- 7 days or less prior to the arrival date – no refunds.
- 60 TO 30 days prior to the arrival date – 50% REFUNDS
- 29 days or less prior to the arrival date – NO REFUNDS.
We may update this policy from time to time, so please check here frequently. Hotel will not disclose identifiable user information to any third party without consent. Hotel is committed to safeguarding your privacy while visiting the Hotel website, namely, http://www.hotelparador.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).
Our goal is to provide you with an Internet experience that delivers the information, resources and services that are most relevant to you. To achieve this goal, part of the operation of th e Site includes the gathering of certain types of information about Site users.

We would like our Site visitors to feel confident about using the Site to plan and purchase their accommodations, so Hotel is committed to protecting the information we collect. Hotel has implemented a security program to keep information that is stored in our systems protected from unauthorized access. Our Site is hosted in a secure environment. The Site servers/systems are configured with data encryption, or scrambling technologies, and industry-standard firewalls. When you enter personal information during the reservation process, or during a customer email sign-up, your data is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure safe transmission.

Secure Policies
“Go Daddy Secure Sever” secures the information you submit to us secure and private. We can accept credit card payments and provide you with the safety and comfort you demand when ordering on the Internet. Go Daddy offers advantage of placing your order online using secure servers and encryption. Your purchases, credit card information, and personal data are encrypted and secured through a link to our commerce server. During the completion of your order, you will be linked from our web pages to customized screens on our secure server. Your information is encrypted during its trip across the Internet to prohibit viewing by a third party.
General Policies
New Year’s:
Any check-in on the 28th, 29th, 30th or 31st have a FOUR (4) night minimum stay and must include the New Year’s Eve Celebration at an additional cost.
Smoking
Inside the rooms we try to have a smoke free environment, we politely ask you to refrain from smoking inside your room. If you choose to smoke please do so on your balcony or terrace.
Physically impaired
The Resort has rooms for the physically impaired on the lower level, and a ramp access to the pools and restaurants.
Please specify any restrictions or limitations regarding health that may require special attention, or for ground transportation.
Prostitution
Any person providing sexual favors for compensation are prohibited on Hotel property. Furthermore, any hotel guest who brings such persons onto Hotel property shall be evicted without compensation at management discretion.
